fallout 2 - r/fo76 has me usubscribing permanently

They claim to really like FO76, but can't withstand any criticism of the game. They often confuse the practices of Zenimax with BGS and blur them into one, so they defend anything and everything about this game. It's no where near perfect..

The funny thing is, I think I like the game more than they do. I play it HOURS and HOURS everyday… But that doesn't mean it's above criticism. And of course I'm going to criticize the game. Who wouldn't want something they like to be even better? Who doesn't hold BGS to a higher standard when it comes to making games with quality content (let's leave technical problems aside for a moment). BGS is known for putting some of the greatest worlds together for their games and it really doesn't show here.

As someone who's approaching level 90 and never power leveled, I can confirm they they game feels pretty shallow with the exception of one faction..

But that's the thing, I feel like I play the game more than most people at r/fo76. Someone their tried to argue that there aren't bugged and useless perk cards at the moment.. That's not uncommon. A lot of them don't understand the state of the end game right now because they don't play for longer than 2 – 4 hours a day.

There's no denying that this game IS horribly buggy. Especially late game, you find out a lot of things are just useless or bugged, but some of them are even denying that. The ones that don't deny it claim "OH, every bgs game has bugs".. As if there isn't great corner to back it up and as if a multiplayer environment isn't completely different than a single player one.

There's so much missing content too! Where are player vending machines, combined bases, and player hubs? Where's the drama of PVP Todd kept bringing up? Why is there no late game content other than Nike zones/Scorched queen?

Why do we have to worry about things like a stash size for so long because item tracking isn't where it should be? Why do we have to keep making alts instead of having a respec available already?

Right now it feels like this game will die in 3 months and have a revival 3 months later with a big update and a steam release at a reduced cost.

r/fo76 shouldn't be blindly accepting the state of the game. They should be OK with criticism.
