Edit: the things that are in parentheses () are things that I expressed myself wrongly or got to passionate and talked about my opinion. If you are going to take anything from this post, take the Mario party and Pokémon part of this comment

I won’t delete the parenthesis parts, you can read them if you wanna hear a lunatics opinion

Super Mario Party was a mess with unique minigames and only 4 boards. The campaign mode was uninspired since it was replaying all minigames. Even the DS version of Mario Party had 5 boards, a story mode with bosses, and tons of extra content like puzzle minigames.

(((((Even though it is the best version, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe only added the inklings, the purple drift, and the old battle mode which was supposed to be in the original game. The only DLC is the breath of the wild skin for Link… still a great game but barely anything new ))))

((((((For smash, they create an intricate line of fighters including classic old characters like Terry and Banjo, and more recent characters like Joker. But instead of ending in a high note, we get Byleth as the final DLC. It was all a publicity stunt for the new DLC. )))))

((((((Then they announce an ARMS fighter which most people weren't excited (I was thought), but make what feels a rushed out DLC. The stage has a cool mechanic, but compared to the other DLC stages, it seems bland. Also, the other stages have character models for other characters like Mementos has the Phantom Thieves, Yggdrasil's Altar has creatures that appear around the stage. Spiral Mountain had Gruntilda and other characters, even the Garreg Mach Monastery had members from all three houses. For ARMS we only get pictures from the characters. Also, the moveset for Min Min is very dull, I feel that they could have been more creative, but I do understand that is hard to move from a 3D plane to a 2D. )))))))

Games like Bayonetta 3, Metroid Prime 4, and Breath of the Wild 2, were announced a long time ago, and they don't have the decency to announce updates, even if its bad news (edit: I know that there is a pandemic, I don’t mean that I want these games to release tomorrow, but some updates would be nice, I am a patient man)

The Sword and Shield games are really bad. The story is bland, the starters are boring and unrelated to one another, the Legendary dogs look more like mythical pokemon, the other legendary Eternatus is extremely forgettable, the characters have no emotion, the champion's main pokemon is a Charizard instead of a Galarian Pokemon, the animations are horrible, the graphics look the same as the sun and moon, just on a bigger screen, the DLC is extremely short, and somehow, having pokemon follow you was not implemented on the main game, only works on the DLC island, is extremely buggy and inconstant and the worst thing is that they implemented it in Lets' Go and it works totally fine.

Nintendo Switch Online is a joke, yes it is cheaper than other consoles but seems unnecessary. I would rather pay for a subscription to have the NES and SNES games, but free online, than paying for online and the classic games.

I love Nintendo, I grew up playing their games, and I still do. And yes, they have made some amazing games like Breath of the Wild, Super Mario Odyssey, Splatoon 2, Animal Crossing New Horizons, Smash Ultimate, and many more. But recently I have felt more disappointment than excitement, and the announcement of Pokemon Unite did not really help. Is anyone else feeling like this??
