I've been playing on this game for a few months now, and with the recently released St. Patricks day event and the upcoming Easter event, I thought I'd try to bring some new faces to the site!
What is Pokémon Eclipse?
Pokémon Eclipse is a fan game run by a small team of moderators, administrators, and the Webmaster, Cless (creator of the site). It provides a unique experience to the world of Pokémon, and the game is filled with tons of original Pokémon designs and recolors of fan favorites! It offers exciting and joyful gameplay. You can search Legendary areas for rare Pokémon, go mining for rare Pokémon and shards, battle other trainers and level up your Pokémon, play minigames exclusive to the website, battle through an action-packed seven chapter battle arena, and much more! There's also an interactive Forums section where we hold weekly Newspapers featuring unique articles and explaining new events on the site!
How do I play?
The best way to start the game is by searching in the Legendary area, Jirachi's Park. It is designed for beginners and shows the basic format for legendary areas. Another great area to start is by battling through the Battle Area, which is seven chapters of fighting, with a "Special story mode" as the last chapter where you obtain and use Pokémon in its own aspect of the game.
Any tips for newcomers?
Well the first thing you should know is that there are three types of currency. Platinum coins are the most general form of currency, which is used to buy Pokémon from other trainers, and basic items. Platinum coins are obtainable through mining, daily prizes, searching legendary areas, battling, and winning minigames. Moon points are a special currency that is considered rarer than Platinum coins. They're used to buy rare Pokémon from the site, special items, and new Legendary areas to search. It is found in the same areas as platinum coins but are much rarer. Then there are Diamond coins, which are exclusive to the Special story mode. This is obtained through battling in the Special story mode, and can be used to buy rare Pokémon or items to help you in that mode. There is also a cbox (chatbox) in the bottom right of the screen, which can be used to communicate with other players for advice, trading, or general chatting. The recently released St. Patricks day event will help jump start newer players as well, so long as you jump on this as soon as possible! In addition, there's a big Easter Event being planned to be released in a few short weeks, so getting adjusted to the game before then will give you a better shot!
This sounds like a lot of fun, but what's the catch?
I'm pleased to tell you there is no catch. Everything I just talked about is completely free, however you are welcome to donate to help support the site.
Wow, this sounds too good to be true! Where can I sign up?
