I received an email from "Nintendo" ([email protected]>(mailto:[email protected])) urging me to reset my password. Here's a plaintext copy of the email:

Please create a new password now Trouble viewing email? Click here. We have reason to believe that someone may have improperly accessed your Nintendo Network ID. As a safety precaution, we have reset your password. You will have to set a new password to continue using your account. If you had recently updated your password, you will need to set a new one again. Please take a moment to set a new password using the information below.  • When selecting a new password for your Nintendo Network ID, we recommend that you use a strong, unique password that is not also used for services offered by other companies. • If you have a Nintendo Account linked to your Nintendo Network ID, please consider implementing 2-step verification for your Nintendo Account. I went to MyNintendo manually and signed in, and all was well. This is a clear phishing attempt for those with 2FA enabled.


Edit: Whois for all URLs point to Nintendo, so this may be their NNID website. Still, the fact that I have 2FA enabled already, as well as know nobody has accessed my account, made me suspicious.
