Questions about Blade & Soul and Black Desert Online

Hello everyone, firstly I want to apologize if I sounded rude or ignorant am just new to PC gaming in general so I know nothing. I also apologize for cramming a post with multiple subjects.

So I am looking for an MMORPG to play, after researching, the two games that caught my attention are Blade & Soul and Black Desert Online, but firstly about myself and the situation am in:

  1. I Am a PlayStation player, so am not that comfortable with playing with a keyboard. That's why I enjoyed BDO because the keyboard controls aren't all over the place.
  2. I am looking for an action game (you know the ones where you actually control the character rather than using the mouse to tell them where to go)
  3. I have no problem to pay a little bit here and there if the game is free (like for a subscription or a certain cool item) but to a certain extent (lets say I have no problem putting in 100$ for a 2 or 3 months of playing)
  4. I don't have a problem putting in the work. I played GTA and stopped because I bought everything worth it in the game all from grinding (so you can say I have no problem with repetitiveness if it is action packed)
  5. I am mostly a solo player, but I have a couple of friends who are also interested in playing but mostly I will be on my own.
  6. I don't want to be forced to work with others, I have no problem in grouping with people but willingly not to progress
  7. I don't want to PvP unless I have to for just one time or something

So I tried BDO and had a blast with it, just what annoyed me about it is that the questing felt too brainless, like it is mainly running around spamming R till the guy gives you the rewards that you don't understand what to do with them. I know the point is reading and understanding the world and the story, but to be honest am are not here for that, I have only read the conversation when the girl was cute. so my questions for BDO are:

  1. does it get better? this in terms of quests objectives and things to do, like I have no problem when it is all about fighting monsters but not just going from point A to B?
  2. is parting an advantage or disadvantage? I know XP is shared when you are in the same fight as will as the quests objectives, but is that it?
  3. does the game force you to PvP? And is there anything important locked to only PvP?
  4. do I have to join a guild and will it affect me as a solo player?
  5. Can you play the endgame solo?
  6. is the monthly subscription thing per account or character? and is it worth it?
  7. what activities that can be done as a party of two or three?
  8. Where can I go to understand the game and what to do as a new player? like a Youtuber or a blog or something(Their subreddit looks intimidating to be honest)

As for Blade & Soul, my friends are really sold on that one more the BDO, but I haven't tried it yet:

  1. How similar it is to BDO in terms of gameplay? or maybe what is the difference between the two in terms of it?
  2. can the raids and dungeons be done solo or as a small group?
  3. does the game force you to PvP? And is there anything important locked to only PvP?
  4. do I have to join a guild and will it affect me as a solo player?
  5. is there a monthly subscription thing or is it just buy currency and items?
  6. what activities that can be done as a party of two or three?
  7. Where can I go to understand the game and what to do as a new player? like a Youtuber or a blog or something(Their subreddit looks toxic to be honest)

Again sorry for the lengthy and cluttery post, some side notes:

  1. i am willing to try out other games if you have any suggestions
  2. if you must say P2W like every post to ever exist on the internet about MMORPGs, please detail what is exactly, because for me personally, i don't believe that paying to get certain items or for currency to save time as P2W, especially in a free to play game, a P2W is when there is really good/necessary items locked behind paywall or that the game is trying to milk you for the simplest of things(Example in Red Dead Online you need to grind for 30 hours to get one of the hair cuts, and that is in a 60$ game)
