For the first of hopefully many Game Club tournaments, we'll be running a Clubhouse Games: 51 Worldwide Classics mystery bracket on Sunday, August 9, 3:00 PM EST! The mystery is that every round of the bracket will be a different game, and you won't know what you're going to play until the round starts! Make sure to practice all 51 games if you want to be ready for anything! (Well, okay, you don't have to practice the solitaire games I guess.)

This will be a double elimination bracket, meaning you must lose two sets to be eliminated from the tournament. Don't fret if you lose once, you'll still have a chance to claw your way back from the loser's bracket gauntlet.

As stated, each round of the tournament will be a different game, and that includes separate games for winner's bracket rounds and loser's bracket rounds, and a grand finals reset if necessary. We will reveal each game and settings at the start of each round.

Some games may be played best 2/3 or 3/5. Where applicable, for the first round of the set it should be random who moves first, then for each subsequent round the loser of the previous round may choose whether they would like to move first or second.

Sign up on this form. You have until 11:59 PM August 8 to sign up.

You will be required to check in on our Discord server before the tournament begins. Check ins will open 2:00 PM, you will have until 2:45 PM to let us know that you are here and ready to play. If you do not check in on time you will be dropped from the bracket!

We will be capping registration at 32 entrants. If we do get more than 32 entrants any additional players will be put on a waitlist. If any of the first 32 players fail to check in, their spot will go to the next on the waitlist, first come first serve. So if you wind up on the waitlist, stick around and check in anyway!

The tournament will begin at 3:00 PM EST, see here for your timezone.

Will be part of the tournament?
What part of mystery didn't you understand? You'll find out during the tournament and not a moment sooner!

Okay but what about-
No seriously, we're not telling you anything. Rest assured that we have hand-picked a list of games we think will provide a balance of fun, skill, and surprises, but that list is for us to know and you to find out.

Will there be a stream?
Unfortunately, Clubhouse Games does not have a way for an additional user to join as a spectator in order to stream, nothing we can do. 🙁 However, if any players would like to stream their own matches you are more than welcome to – please let us know and we can shout out your channel! (Note: It may be a good idea to configure a 5 minute stream delay so your opponents cannot spy on your hand)

Will there be more Game Club tournaments in the future?
If this goes well and there's interest in more, we would love to do more tournaments as a regular part of Game Club. Maybe some NES/SNES Online multiplayer next?
