10 more tips for new players

fallout 3 - 10 more tips for new players

Just some advice.

  • Stash boxes can only be used to access your stash. Unfortunatly, this also means that if someone steals from you they can use your stash to put stuff they steal from you in their stash. So put it behind locked doors.

  • Food rots. So go ahead and eat it when it’s fresh.

  • Empty power armor still provides base str of 10 and decent resists. However also uses cores, so if you find one early you can strip off the armor and can still use it.

  • power armor frames can be picked up stored in you inventory.

  • plant mutefruit Tato and corn, build water pump purifier and wait, boom no more problems with adhesive.

  • If your stash is full, everything broken down and bundled, and all you have is your stash box, use camp to build workbenches, other structures and gun turrets, or just sell off half the junk item you have the most of and obviously don’t need for caps. Also throw out all rotted food.

  • bobbleheads and magazines only provide a short buff.

  • many if not most of the guns, recipes, armor, Recipies, and other various other items spawned in world are randomized, and will be diferent from what you see on various you tubes, stream, and walkthroughs. This is by design and is not a bug.

  • yes, creatures can and will spawn on you while building a camp. So yes putting down a turret and having it instantly start shooting Scorched or wildlife that agroed on it will happen. Needless to say building turrets at camp is a good idea.

  • just a reminder, useing pipboy does not pause the game. Don’t be like me abandon be reminded the hard way.
