Bullshit. And here's why.
New Vegas was developed in 18 months by a small Obsidian team, and got an 85 (a B/B+) on Metacritic, with 4 fantastic DLC stories. It's highly praised today and is considered the standard that Fallout games are held to. It's also the highest rated Fallout game on Steam. All that, despite being glitched to hell on launch.
Fallout 76 was originally a multiplayer mode/version of Fallout 4, so presumably has been in development since before 2015 (3-4+ years). Not only that, but in an interview Todd Howard said that he pulled people from every part of Bethesda (Id, Arkane, etc.) for 76, presumably a large team. It had a sub-65 score even after the "trolls" moved on, and as to add biting insult to crippling injury, it has microtransactions, some of which are Fallout 4 assets recycled into 76. Recycling Fallout 4 assets not being a foreign concept for the game to begin with. All that, on top of being glitched to hell on release and onwards.
So no, we have no place comparing Bethesda's half hearted cash grab to Obsidians Western themed achievement. Come up with a better argument.
TL;DR New Vegas was made really quick by a few people, 76 was the opposite. Stop using New Vegas to try and justify 76's awfulness.
© Post "A common argument I hear is that we should forgive the glitches of 76 because New Vegas was really good, and it had a ton of glitches." for game Fallout.
