I have no interest in PvP, regardless of how poorly the mechanics are currently implemented, or how good they might be in the future. Let me be clear: I. Have. No. Interest. In. PvP. AT. ALL.

In that regard, if I'm going to do something that will result in me getting flagged, I feel there should be a warning letting me know. I play this game as a mainly single player affair, where I sometimes come across other players, also doing their own thing. If I have to interact with them, it will be strictly in a co-operative manner.

I was in the neighborhood of the ammunition factory yesterday, and the person who owned it was there and a defend event popped up. I went over to lend a hand and possibly get a free plan from the reward. Afterwards, I was just looking around, not even interested in seeing if the ammo fabricators were unlocked or not, and even dropped them a legendary gun I got from a mob in the event that I didn't need. Anyway, I was just grabbing some junk here and there, and saw a safe that wasn't opened. I rarely interact with previously-claimed workshops and did not know lockpicking that safe would flag me as wanted.

My suggestion is that there should be either a pop-up, or other warning, that would inform me that taking this action would result in being flagged. This popup should only appear if the Pacifist option is enabled.

As a result of this, I had to alter the way I play against my desire, and either not pick up any junk, limit how much I picked up, or stay near a stash box. Losing your junk is not a big deal by any means, but it's just the annoyance of it all. I then had to basically stand out in the open hoping someone would just come along and kill me for that measly 10 cap bounty, so I could get back to playing the way I wanted to. Not seeing other players on the map while wanted further contributed to being annoyed. I could have just kept going, but I would rather avoid being in the middle of a story element and getting jumped out of the blue.

Read:  Forcing players to assist in kills in order to obtain experience while fighting in a team practically discourages team play.

So that's basically it. Just a QoL thing that would have prevented me a few hours of frustration (yes it took that long for someone to finally kill me, after we killed 3 scorchbeasts at the same time with one or two other people).

Thanks!
