Part of me is posting this just to bi*ch, another is posting hoping the visibility will get me a refund.
On Dec. 3 I came across a storyline mission that wouldn't let me progress. I fast traveled around, rebooted the game, and nothing worked. On the 4th, I submitted a ticket to Bethesda Support and they told me to leave the area and log off. Any time I responded saying "I've already done that" a new support person would take over the ticket and tell me to leave the area and log off.
I asked to return the product. I was specific about my language because I don't want the game. I want my money and they can deactivate my account. Or if that didn't work for them, just return my money. Their product is broken, and I don't want a broken product. I want my money.
One support person told me my problem would be fixed in today's patch. I didn't want to wait and kept asking for my money back. They told me they won't refund my money. End of story. Despite their product being broken.
Today's patch comes along and the problem still isn't fixed. So their product is still broken, and I can't progress. They are also not responding to any of my messages for an update on my refund.
Here's a shot of my lovely journey trying to get my money back. https://imgur.com/a/VRGjspX
I have officially spent more days trying to get a problem solved than I have playing this broken game. Rad.
