The B.E.T.A. is for the Devs, my the players. It's not supposed to be early access. It's not even what people think of a "closed/open Beta" which is actually a Delta/Candidate). It is an actual Beta and it also stands for "Break-it Early Test Application". It's supposed to be people trying to overload the servers and get the game to break or crash so the Devs can fix what they need to and improve it for launch. People need to stop complaining about not being able to play it all day everyday for 3 weeks before the game comes out. It's supposed to be for the players to find bugs/glitches and report them to Devs so they can fix them prior to launch so they game isn't very buggy at launch.
Edit: because I keep seeing this in the comments. You didn't pay for the B.E.T.A., you paid for the game and got the Beta access as a bonus. This IS a Beta. The "closed/open Beta" everyone is used to, is actually a Delta/Candidate. A Beta is for testing bugs and server strength. Delta/Candidate is for a full release of the game prior to the actual release. People don't realize the point of it is to test server strength and bugs. If they let open 24 hours then at any given point the amount of players will be probably, at most, 1/3 to 1/4 compared to if they do it a certain times on certain days.
tl;dr – it's not early access. It's for people to test the game so Devs can fix bugs/glitches before launch. Stop acting like it's for the people that paid for the game before it came out; it's for the game.
