Just beat Fallout 4 for the first time since I bought it. I sided with the institute because fu*k it why not.
Holy shit, this was underwhelming as fu*k. Is that seriously how it ends? I feel like nothing I did mattered. I can tell just tell by looking that the ending is a stupid fu*king stock ending you'll get no matter what side you choose. Also fu*k my son for literally giving me no option but to kill everyone. I literally saw no reason to kill the railroad at the very least. THey were basically like no threat. I just rolled in, kill a handful of them easily, and rolled on out of there. They were so easy to kill it was hardly worth it. And I was suppose to consider them a threat to the fu*king Institute? And what fu*king sucks is that I feel like my character should of at least had the choice to try and do something behind Shaun's back in that scenario, like i could lie and shit. And now I feel basically no attachment to all these NPC's, including the ones I supposedly sides in the institute. It's made me realize just how damn disposable they all are.
God, this fu*king sucks. I feel like I wasted so much time for nothing. Also, everything just turns into a fu*king shooting gallery at the end. And besides the fact that diamond city now institute flags and gen 2 synths everywhere I feel like this world I'm in is entirely hollow.
