Why does the Fallout 76 launch countdown show it will be available at 5pm ET on October 30 on PC?
The event will start by 7pm ET on Tuesday, October 30 as announced. The Mr. Handy that programmed the countdown timer was running on Mountain time; as a result the timer will run down about two hours before the B.E.T.A. event is schedule to begin. The B.E.T.A. will start at 7PM EDT on October 30th. If the launcher is telling you otherwise, then it's still bugged.
You can use this tool to check what time it will start in your time zone, or you can go check out this thread for a listing of times in some time zones.
