Just kidding, Squishy never moved. He was frozen 🙁 But for real, I've made it to level 100 butt ass naked. Full disclosure, when I was level 80 or so I got my first suit of Excavator Power Armor and since then, if I am in high radiation areas I'll put on some Power Armor purely and only for the rad resistance. I justify it because if at all possible, I do it naked, and only wear it when the rads are high, because it's just too draining and it's not fun to grind for the components to make rad away. I have participated in and helped kill several SBQ butt naked, but each run is a huge undertaking because you need about 300-400 Rad Away. So, I figured after awhile I had proved my mettle and had earned the right to wear some power armor to avoid the grind.

I will be fair, in order to survive naked I run a very specific build, focused entirely on a 3* Vampires +50% Limb +1 AGL Combat shotgun and every perk I can possibly run that improves the shot gun's damage, limb damage, and crippling power. There is also somewhat of an oversight where a Vampires weapon will give you xxHP back on every hit, but it's counted per projectile, not per shot, so the Vampire's combat shotgun gives back a retard amount of health if all the pellets hit, and another oversight is that the chance to cripple a limb AND stagger is also calculated per pellet, so if have a +50% limb damage weapon and max level of Enforcer, as long as several of the pellets hit there is a super high chance that they will stagger or a leg will get crippled, slowing them down long enough until I get right up on them and can keep dump shells into them, regenerating my health just as fast as they do it to me.

The effect is even more pronounced on tougher enemies like deathclaws and high level super mutants, because the shotgun cripples their limbs so fast soon, both arms and legs are crippled and the target can neither shoot back nor move. Sometimes if you hit them hard enough and fast enough, they just kind of freeze up and you can kill them at leisure. Here's a video of me taking down a level 91 Glowing Deathclaw to show you what I mean.

So I dunno if it's really so much that I survived to level 100 naked or it is that I found a way to break the game into letting me run around killing shit in whatever I want. Either way, it's been a blast!

Here's my camp if anyone is interested. I run an ammo factory out of Wilson Bro's.
