What About the Pet System? Here’s How It Should Look Like (In My View)

Bethesda announced a pet system coming in the future but we hardly know any details. The other day I was thinking about how it could or should look like in my perspective and this is what I came up with:

First of all, the pets would follow you around (like any other MMO) and they would unlock different bonus tiers, depending on their loyalty level. Basically, if you don't feed and pet them, they lose loyalty. If you take care of them their loyalty will slowly increase and become steady. Sounds realistic enough for a post-apocalyptic game, no?

Now, what about the pets? I thought about 10 different ones with their respective passives too. I tried my best to add attributes & buffs which are related to each animal/robot.

1. Dog

  • Tier 1 Loyalty – +1 STRENGTH + 10 Physical Damage
  • Tier 2 Loyalty – +2 STRENGTH + 15 Physical Damage
  • Tier 3 Loyalty – +3 STRENGTH + 20 Physical Damage

  • Tier 1 Loyalty – +1 AGILITY + 5% Harder to detect while sneaking
  • Tier 2 Loyalty – +2 AGILITY + 10% Harder to detect while sneaking

  • Tier 1 Loyalty – +1 LUCK + 5% to Avoid All Damage
  • Tier 2 Loyalty – +2 LUCK + 10% to Avoid All Damage
  • Tier 3 Loyalty – +3 LUCK + 15% to Avoid All Damage

4. Fox

  • Tier 1 Loyalty – +1 PERCEPTION + 5% to Restore All AP with Every VATS Kill
  • Tier 2 Loyalty – +2 PERCEPTION + 10% to Restore All AP with Every VATS Kill
