I went into a private solo 100 4x mission, where the husks at PL118. I am PL98 with 2.2k offense and used a stock Nobel PL106 (stock as in only +5% from element perk, +15% from DMG perk no upping just the PL). By myself, I can 1 shot or nearly (depending if they get hit 2x by the beam) an elemental gunslinger (more HP than a normal husk). If I had even one more player with, not the usual 3 others, I'd be oneshotting the max level elemental husks with an un-upgraded perks from the shop Nobel.
So if the main job of the Nobel is crowd clearing and leaving the big guys behind, why go 3x DMG? You are going to overkill the living crap out of those poor husks! I say go 2x Dura, 1x Reload, 1x DMG.
Each durability adds +13 shots to the Nobel, combine this set up with Demolitionist (+45 shots from her durability loss reduction) and your launcher now lasts 100 shots! This isn't about, oh, I don't have the materials to spam launchers. It's about there being no need to go so much damage on this trash clearing, shield piercing weapon. At most, I say go 2x DMG, 1x Dura, 1x Reload which would last only 13 shots less.
Unless you are in fact playing solo 24/7 or usually playing severely overlvl'd content, you really don't need the 3x DMG that people say you should go. The Nobel isn't for Smasher busting, there are many other weapons for that.
TL;DR: Nobel can do it's job of trash clear with only 1x DMG, not 3x DMG. Better to not be overkilling husks and make your gun last twice as long instead. At most run 2x DMG.
