v11.20 brought some more lore into the game, so I'm here to decode it for you. Instead of putting the entire theory into the post every time I update it, I will make a new post and link the whole theory. That being said if you haven't read the whole theory yet, you should read it before reading this. Trust me, it will be hard to understand if you don't. (I will also be adding this part to the main theory)
Well lets get on with it. In v11.20 we got three new leaked Loading Screens (from @HYPEX):
Trick Shot Loading Screen
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get the definitions for these loading screens, but even without them we can conclude some major lore pieces. The first two don't seem to have much meaning, but the third one is where things get interesting. Let's take a closer look at everything in the Loading Screen, then go over what it means.
Sorona is the "Secret Skin" of this season. She has some affiliation with A.L.T.E.R. but we don't know what yet.
The picture on the right proves the theory that A.L.T.E.R. is modifying DNA to achieve the alter egos. The Kevin Statue might have meaning which I will state later. I always had a suspicion that the *REDACTED* Landmark belonged to A.L.T.E.R. but now we have confirmation.
The bottom left picture shows an army of Sludges grouped up. This is the army A.L.T.E.R. uses to fight, as shown in the Dive! Loading Screen. It is possible that they are actually inside of *REDACTED*, but there is no real evidence for that. The bottom right picture shows a hurricane, and it's a bad one. This could just be the storm we see every game, but could it mean something bigger? The top picture shows a leaded skin named "Big Chuggus" It is possible he is being tested on to make Rippleys, which A.L.T.E.R. then transforms into Sludge. This testing could be the same that is happening at a shack south of Slurpy Swamp.
We know A.L.T.E.R. turns Rippleys into Suldges because of the Hunter and the Hunted Loading Screen. My theory is that they are trying to do their first fusion (other than Fusion) on Rippley and Sludge because they are not human. They are disposable. This also leads into the answer to one of my questions from last time, they altered the DNA of the E.G.O.s so they could fuse them with the E.G.O.s. However, they didn't want to try a human in case something went wrong like last time. Back to what I was saying about the Kevin statue and Steamy Stacks, because Zero Point energy went wrong last time they might be trying to use CUBE energy instead.
Now for the final piece, Chaos Agent. What I and many others assumed was that The Final Reckoning was just a Halloween event and nothing more. We now know that it is much bigger than that. Forget what I said in earlier versions, Chaos Agent is almost certainly the head of A.L.T.E.R. The first clue is that he looks almost identical to the logo, he is also looking at tons of A.L.T.E.R. information, stuff they wouldn't just hand out to anyone. (He could also be inside the *REDACTED* Landmark. Note that this doesn't completely rule out Toxin, she might only be an apprentice.
Note that this upcoming part is pure speculation and has almost nothing to prove it, I just think it makes sense:
The CUBE energy theory might have been a success and A.L.T.E.R. might have already started fusing other alter egos. Notice how Sorana is part of the same set as Cameo and Chic, and how an upcoming skin "Stingray" has resemblances to Turk and Riptide. Both also have the A.L.T.E.R. logo.
That's all for this update. Remember, if you have any questions, additions, or points I missed please leave a comment so I can be sure to add it in the next update. Thanks for reading!
