After a couple hours of playing the "highly anticipated" major feature, which is known as Ventures. I'm here to share you my opinions. Spoiler alert: I won't say I don't like it, because I actually despise it.

Frontend and Map:

Yes, I definitely have major issues with Ventures right after I select Blasted Badlands. For one, the biome in map and in game is Canny Valley, literally. Therefore I can't see the relevance of the zone name with the map, and I'm fooling myself to think this is new, because it is not. When I think of its name, however, I think about a misty wasteland with ruins all over the place and fortresses made completely out of junk, not a main grindy a…s Ghost Town zone! That's a zero from me, because they mentioned in their HBSR that we'll should be venturing in new and unique biomes, and the first seasonal zone is everything but the above-mentioned.

Secondly, the UI. Instead of completely making a refreshed, unified and most importantly consistent UI for Ventures at the very least, you put an overlay on the top bar, showing the rewards and the Venture Level. If you can make UI adjustments, then why can't you make it unified to the entirety of Fortnite? Another thing I'd like to mention is that I want to check the rewards list in game for leveling up, just like the collection book.

And did I mention that we can't consult our Venture backpack? It would be more interesting to define the hero loadout based on the scavenged resources and manage them.

Impostor! Questline:

I can't see the relevance of a Durr Burger boiii who is training to be a hero while suddenly feeling insecure by his "stormy" self, with Ventures, especially the season of the "Blasted Badlands". And surprise!!! It's a fetch questline in a seasonal zone that's similar identical to the one of the main campaign's four three.

Rewards

Right of the bat, I find the rewards uninspiring. For Stonewood players, this is decent, because they can't use the supercharger's until they complete Twine SSD6, that also depends on the player's progression. But for endgamers who have tons of Tier 5 items, definitely not worth the time and effort. The only solution I can see is to scale the rewards up based on the main campaign's progress, as well as account and power levels. But do you remember the High-Twine rewards scaling? It took them 6-8 months to completely implement it.

And here they are again… bugs:

I'm praying for this company to implement one day… one single day… a feature or anything that has no bugs. I want to see them add something for this premium experience without (un)intentional added issues. Yeah, I'm wasting my time with this stupid trash. People want money these days, there don't deserve prays.

Anyway, the first experienced bug. A Rescue the Survivor mission doesn't register the rescued survivors and Ray is unusually radio silent. (She's probably asked the community managers and coordinators for that.) I then stopped playing the game so that I won't bother having too much premium experience

So this is the major feature, everybody. claps twice

Now go home.
