This affects all levels, not just twine. There are x4 missions in very early game, which can be compared to late game rewards by scaling down both the x4 rewards and the x2 rewards of the alert missions. So even if you're not at twine, this event will not benefit you at all.

Another aspect of end-game for twine players is the ability to farm and spend v-bucks on super people llamas, which have a chance to grant you mythic survivors, or even legendary survivors if your teams are already not filled with them. Counting dailies and login rewards, you will roughly net between 2200 and 2500 v-bucks during this month, which allows you to buy 2 of these llamas for a chance to get any of them (which isn't guaranteed, since there's no dupe protection). If your end game consisted on farming v-bucks per day, 3 times a day (which is roughly an hour of play a day, plus dailies and whatever x4 you wanted to farm), you could have gotten, on average, a bit over 5000 vbucks per month, which translates to 5 of these llamas.

Even time required has been butchered. With this event, epic expects you to farm at least 10 different missions per day (15 to 20 min on average per mission). This is going to take you roughly 3 and a half hours, if there's no breaks in between, to farm instances that give 26k to 35k on average, depending on the mission. So in 3 and a half hours you would get around 350k xp. If you can get a good x4 mission, on the other hand, almost 6 hours can net you over 2 million xp if you find a good group to speedrun them. Category 4 atlas are the most rewarding, though they consume lots of resources, even more now that they nerfed decoy. Repair the shelter, on the other hand, is the easiest and most speedrun friendly x4 mission that you can get. I've gained over 2M xp whenever I got one right off the bat, and farmed for several hours with my friends, with minimal investment. I don't know about you, but 6 hours for 2M is way better than 6 hours for 700k (these are estimate numbers, but pretty close to what you would get. They can also be scaled down to whatever map you're in right now)

So to summarize, end game players are now left with 2 llamas this month (that is, if the person isn't spending this currency in BR, which is absolutely fine and should, by no means, be looked down on). That is it. There is no benefit to be had from this event, you are losing 3000 vbucks and you will keep doing x4 missions to out-farm whatever double rewards they throw at you. It's not worth it, not even the gold, and not even the time invested

In my experience, this patch/event cost us two things: the 3 vbuck alert missions (which were pretty much a standard thing), and the decoy nerf (which is kinda fair tbh; cheesing missions was a real thing and it had to go, though it got absolutely butchered to the point the skill became weak now), with basically no benefits at all.

Sorry these ideas are not organized at all. I'm just venting and saying things as they come. Numbers might not be 100% accurate but they are pretty close based on what I'm looking at right now when I see twine rewards

You are much welcomed to refute these points with solid arguments. I've seen people attacking posters by saying they have no life or that they are kids for criticizing this event. If you're gonna say that, just shut up and downvote, it's easier
