My people were initially against me for helping Manchester, but I knew I wasn't going to abandon an entire city over a few plants. It was stressful, but when I sent my second round of automatons and rations to Manchester, I got the message saying that people were inspired and will help me in the aid for Manchester; work efficiency rises.
Idk if anyone else feels similar, but that was inspirational, almost akin to the message you get in the main storyline when you activate emergency shifts before the storm hits; everyone knows they must do their part.
At the end, I was able to help Manchester while keeping my city and the seedlings alive. The "This is our legacy" message during the end credits was one of the greatest feelings of satisfaction and accomplishment I've experienced. The feelings are heightened since this was a scenario I failed a few times. It's amazing to know that each layer of rectified mistakes led to a good ending!
This game is very good at keeping me on the edge of my seat. This is the most I've ever been emotionally invested in a management-esque game. Thank you 11-bit studios for making such a great piece, I'm having a blast!
