Hey y'all these are just some balance changes I've been craving! The numbers are just ballparks, so some things can seem OP, but these are just general directions to go in. Some changes I propose would obviously need some more in depth tuning (buff, nerfs, adjustments…etc) like Valla and Whitemane, but these are some starting points. Hopefully some devs get inspired. I would also love to see what other changes the community would like to implement.


  • Tyrael:
    • Judgement: New Passive Effect: Righteousness now removes all stun, slow, root, and silence effects from allies.
    • Sanctification: Cooldown reduced to 70 seconds
    • Level 1:
      • Salvation: Now restores 75% of the mana cost if Tyrael’s shield is broken.
    • Level 7:
      • Reciprocate: radius increased 70%
  • Blaze:
    • Healing from ignited Oil Spills reduced by 30%
    • Jet Propulsion: Delay reduced to .35 seconds
    • Bunker: Cooldown reduced to 60 seconds
    • Level 4:
      • Meltdown: Made Baseline
    • Level 1:
      • New Habits: Moved to level 4
    • Level 7:
      • Incinerator Gauntlets: Auto-attacks no longer ignite Oil Spills. Area increased to 20% bonus damage to 80%
  • Mal'ganis
    • Fel Claws: stun increased to 1 second
  • Varian:
    • Level 16:
      • Banner of Stormwind: Movement speed increased to 50%
      • Banner of Ironforge: Armor increased to 40%
      • Banner of Dalaran: Spell Power increased to 40%
  • Maiev
    • Tank rework: I don’t think Maiev’s kit will ever be balanced if she is a melee assassin. She has the ability to deal too much damage and has 2 escapes, and hard engage. So by just reducing her damage and beefing up her control we could just make her a tank. Also I would like a main tank with a silhouette that is not big-beefy-man
    • Auto-attack damage reduced by 20%.
    • Fan of Knives:Damage reduced by 55%. New effect: reduces the damage dealt by an enemy hero by 15% for 4 seconds, stacking up to 45%.
    • Umbral Bind: New Effect: For 2 seconds after being pulled by Umbral Bind enemy heroes hit by Fan of Knives will be stunned for 1 second.
    • Would need some in depth talent changes


  • Thrall:
    • Level 7:
      • Maelstrom Weapon: Attack Damage per stack increased to 1.5
  • Malthael:
    • Level 16:
      • Mortality: Malthael heals for 25% of the damage dealt
      • Memento Mori: Now grants Malthael shields for 50% of the bonus damage
  • Yrel:
    • Level 7:
      • Righteous Momentum: Movement speed at max charge increased to 40%


  • Zarya:
    • Level 1:
      • Hit me: Zarya heals for .4% of her max health for every point of energy decayed
      • (an attempt by me to get Zarya played in the solo lane by giving her some sustain)


  • Auriel:
    • Crystal Aegis: Cooldown reduced to 30 seconds, damage reduced by 50% (Might seem like a huge buff but I think Aegis is just so punishable that this is needed to give a cleanseless support some more counterplay options)
    • Resurrect: Auriel revives all dead allies to her current location at 50% health.
    • Level 1:
      • Swift Sweep: Made baseline
  • Alexstrasza:
    • Level 20:
      • Ancient Flame: No longer reduces attack speed. (this talent just needed some love, and it gives E build some more late game power)
  • Whitemane:
    • Searing Lash : Now hits in the cross pattern both times
    • Level 1:
      • Pity the Frail: moved to level 13
    • Level 13:
      • Guiding Light: Increased to 40% movement speed
      • Harsh Discipline: made baseline
    • Level 20:
      • Subjugation now reduces enemy damage by 90%
  • Ana:
    • Level 7:
      • Anti-Healer: Area increased by 50% (Down from 100%)


  • Li-Ming
    • Level 7:
      • Seeker: Damage increased to 225
  • Kael'thas
    • Level 1:
      • Convection: Damaging an enemy hero with Flamestrike permanently increased Flamestrike’s damage by 5. Kael'thas loses half his stacks upon dying.
  • Hanzo:
    • Auto attack damage reduced by 20%
    • Level 1:
      • Redemption: At 12 Redemption gain 80% attack speed (up from 50%)
    • Level 16:
      • Piercing Arrows: Stormbow no longer pierces (This talent is way to strong with the Q waveclear talent at 4)
  • Valla:
    • Mana removed
    • New Resource: Discipline: up to 30 max discipline, auto attacks against heroes restore 2 discipline.
    • Hungering Arrow: Mana Cost removed
    • Multishot: Mana Cost Removed
    • Vault: Cooldown reduced to 1 second. Mana cost removed, now costs 10 discipline
  • Jaina
    • Level 1:
      • Winter's Reach: Ranged increased by 60% (up from 30%)
    • Level 4:
      • Frost armor: Physical armor increased to 75% (up from 50%) every 8 seconds (down from 10 seconds)
    • Level 16:
      • Snowstorm: Blizzard will continue to crash down as long as an enemy hero is shit. Each subsequent crash increases Blizzard's damage by 40%.

Heroes I would have liked to buff, but I just don’t play enough to know where to start:

  • D.Va i want to see her in the solo lane, but she needs some sustain in Mech and I don’t know where to put that
  • Gazlowe: Would love to see him be made into a full on bruiser, more Robo-Gobo powah!
  • ETC’s Level 16s are so boring and unimpactful I do not know where to start fixing them.
  • Nova: How does one stop her kit from being a meme?
