After doing my 10 placements (high plat, low dia), I can say these changes made the game feel much better than what I experienced lately, with the exception of one, all 9 games have been constant back and forth tug-of-wars between the two teams, sometimes a team was trailing by 3 levels and ended up winning, and absolutely none of those games felt like they had no comeback mechanic. Games feel a tad longer, but only slightly, and it actually feels better that way since those long games are usually very fair and could go either way, making those games pretty intense in a good way!
Thanks for a patch which, although based on a small sample of 10 games, makes the game feel like it condensed the best parts of the game and got rid of some of the bad ones.
What are you guys (and girls) impressions so far? Do they relate to mine?
"What is the point in reducing player impact"? The point is that it only reduces anomaly impacts, such as a troll feeding right before the first objective, and rewards players that are systematically better than their opponents over the long run. Hence making the games more competitive and less punishing for good players getting dragged down by teammates who dont belong in their brackets.
