Well, we did it guys, two years and counting. For those not aware, Blackheart's Bay cannonballs are and have been consistently wasted on structures already destroyed. This bug's been around for two years and counting and happens frequently enough that I only had to look through two replays of mine to find an example.
A couple of FAQ's to answer that I always seem to get when I make these posts (Please read thoroughly before posting your comment):
A. It is in fact biannual, not biennial. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=biannual+vs+biennial Also, who the fuck cares.
B. Before people make a fool of themselves, again, trying to argue that this isn't a bug, know that Blizzard has acknowledged that this is in fact a bug in the first post top comment.
C. I have indeed posted it as a bug on the forums, THANK YOU AUTO MOD.
D. Because some people don't know how the cannons are supposed to work. Most times, they fire in volleys of three, however, if the game detects that shots will be wasted it's supposed to only fire enough to destroy it. You can see the correct way here. For a compilation of when it messes up, feel free to look back at my previous posts below.
E. I don't care how you think the map should work and the logistics of a pirate ship firing single shots versus three shots at a time. The fact is the firing mechanic is inconsistent right now and that is a problem when it causes important structures like keeps to remain standing for long after they should be gone.
F. Lastly, and most importantly, I do not care whether you like or hate Blackheart's Bay as a map. That's not what this is about. This is about the fact that the core map mechanic does not work as it's supposed to a disturbingly high amount of times.
