Today its us in Portugal, but tomorrow it can happen in your ERL.

Well, as we all know, the community is far from perfect but today was a sad day for Portuguese League of Legends.

We all remember the case of Kyuuga: https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/5ejuap/portuguese_player_ftw_kyuuga_suspended_until_the/

Or even the case of Arutnev: https://www.reddit.com/r/leagueoflegends/comments/6wieni/another_portuguese_pro_player_makes_death_threats/

What you have to take into consideration:

Oleg "Reativo" "DRIFTER" Ralchenko started the evening by doing one of the most discriminatory we have seen a professional League player do.

It was not the first time he had a negative attitude towards others:
grow up gaming comunicado - Portugal 1st Division Homophobia Towards LEC Drakos

http://novo.growupgaming.pt/grow-up-gaming-comunicado/

It was directed to one of the LEC cast members (Drakos).

Oleg showed to remorse or shame for having done said comment.

Inygon (company that owns LPLOL) issued a statement where they say Oleg is going to be punished with 4 games suspension + 100€ fine: https://lplol.pt/blog/2021/penaliza%C3%A7ao-oleg-ralchenko

Earlier this year, Inygon became also known for one of their directors (Fintinhas) stepping down from his position to buy a spot in the league AND becoming the team coach.

Regarding Oleg:

Translation: "If he is toxic he is going to get what he deserves, you've already reported and exposed him what you are doing now is simply desgusting and if it was me I would break your jaw and I would give 0 f*ucks to the consequences. You would instantly become a human being with values"

Drakos mockery

Translation: "What am I watching? Painting your nails and looking like a fag is a trend now?"

His reaction to 61+ bad feedback

Translation: "My most sincere apologies to everyone that was offended by my last tweet."

His reaction to people trying to reason with him saying that Drakos mockery was a shitty tweet

Translation: "Why was it shitty? I am trolling as always, I didn't insinuate anything and an herd of hurtfull apes came, I just laughted-000 XDDDD"

Translation: "it wasn't homophobic :p, those where questions, anyway my org asked me to put down the tweet they (the "ape" herd) can relax"

In term os transparency Portugal has always been a joke, but right now, as a Portuguese bystander I feel ashamed for a player of my country doing this kind of comment about a LEC caster while showing 0 remorse of even being showned why this behaviour is not acceptable, not now or never.
