No TL;DR – this is already super condensed, and it's worth looking through most of the links I've attached for further information.
Extremely likely to be discussed in the anniversary stream – near-certain:
A new game called "Tellstones". Riot has filed two trademarks for the game (which you can findhere and here), and there is mention to it in loading screen tips on the PBE for Patch 9.20. The trademarks refer to it with regards to "Downloadable video game software; recorded video game software" and "Arranging and conducting live competitions, exhibitions and tournaments featuring board games, tabletop games and video games; entertainment services, namely, providing online video games; providing online information about board games, tabletop games and video games" respectively. Riot has previously been extremely tight-lipped about R&D projects, so the release of this information to the PBE is likely no coincidence.
League of Legends Preseason. There's a lot of content which has already been alluded to, including an
item shop overhaul (both adding and removing items, and likely changing others –
Repertoir was working on some interesting Catalyst / Haunting Guise changes which might be included, and Scruffy mentioned "improvements" to Spear of Shojin. Also, Lightbringer coming back in some form or another was teased in the most recent patch notes), a change to conqueror to make it closer in effect to
Fervor of Battle), jungle
pathing changes (sorry LUL), possible ward changes, possible changes to the way that jungle buffs work and maybe the experimental support item changes leaked in voyboy's mordekaiser video.
TFT "Big Content Update". This may include new
ranked changes, new sets of champions, and more. I'm personally guessing that at least one new set of champions will be added, but that's far from confirmed.
Somewhat likely to be discussed in the anniversary stream, but nowhere near certain – we'll call it 50/50:
New Champion Roadmap. Reav3 has said in september that they were releasing a champion roadmap sometime in the next month (likely aligning with the 10th anniversary stream).Загрузка...
Details about the worlds band, True Damage, We know the name and that it's a band because of this trademark. They registered so many for this one, so the merchandise seems "diverse" – Every one of those words links to a different trademark btw. This is 50/50 as the halloween skins are most likely on the next PBE cycle, so they could potentially wait all the way to 9.21 (
October 23) to release new details.
Further details on the
partnership, including reference to the skins. Assuming that the skins LV designed are for the True Damage skinline, we're likely to hear about this at the same time as the worlds band.
Riot Forge, Riot Tabletop and Legends of Runeterra. Based on the trademarks I've seen, my personal guess is that Riot Forge is merchandise related, Riot Tabletop is a brand name for Riot's board games, and Legends of Runeterra is a so-far unannounced game. It might be Riot's in-development fighting game, but the same could be said for Tellstones and I'm really just going off of the titles to guess that Tellstones isn't the name of a fighting game :^)
I could look for more, but this is all that comes to mind and it's already a massive amount – hope you're all as excited as I am! As a bonus, I'd like to add that I suspect that August's marksman is either being revealed this week or on the Anniversary stream based upon previous champion development workcycles. There's a little more merit to the idea than that (happy to explain it to mods so my post doesn't get removed LUL), but there's nothing wrong with being hyped for the wrong reasons 😉
