I don't like being the one to pass this kind of info on, but I haven't seen it posted here at all and I just want to make sure everyone is on the same page, and that we are all aware of exactly what might be happening out there on the Seas.
when the last player in a galleon crew is loading into the game, but is still at the loading screen, they can be voted into the brig by the rest of the crew before they even finish loading in. When they get into the game they will be in the brig without access to any inventory items. No weapons, shovel, instruments, lantern, anything. This is how you know you did it right. Now they can be let out of the brig
Once that's done that person will look naked like the old naked pirate bug from before. They now have an uncapped personal inventory. They can hold an infinite amount of bananas, cannonballs and planks. This one person can go ashore to an island and while the ship sails off, they fill their pockets with every last resource on the island. Shipwrecks cleared completely of resources in one trip by one person. They can take mermaids as many times as they want, they can eat bananas, fire cannons, repair the ship and hand off resources as long as they want too. They also don't have to go below to restock on supplies as often since they have infinitely deep pockets. They just can't use any other item directly from their inventory.
But as soon as they die once it's gone. This is apparently common knowledge among LFG Fort hoppers, so be careful out there. Especially on a sloop.
TL;DR If you see a naked pirate from a galleon on your ship, chances are you have zero resources
