- A couple days ago, at the following post: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/f9eus8/ragnarok_flanking_esl_spoilers/
I lost my temper and said things I shouldn’t have. My behaviour was unacceptable. Later that day I recieved a temporary ban due to my behaviour, a ban that I completely 100% deserved.
- A couple hours later, a user called u/New_protoss_player posted this thread: https://www.reddit.com/r/starcraft/comments/f9g1d2/extremely_happy_to_see_another_season_of_wallable/
A user called u/ZephyrBluu accused me without any evidence that u/New_protoss_player is an alt account of mine. Obiously accusations without proof are strictly aginst the policies, but I chose not to report it, because it was obviusly just humor from Zephyr, which is completely fine IMO. I pointed out (3) how this dosent makes sense, considering my personality.
A couple hours later, I recive the ban for point number 1. Again, completely deserved for my unacceptable comments.
Few hours later I receive this:
„Your account has been suspended from Reddit for using alternate accounts to evade a subreddit ban. The suspension will last 3 day(s).
Your comment (here is a link to my comment with number3) in r/starcraft is evading the ban you received from that subreddit on 2019-04-09 on a connected account. Moderators get to decide who can participate in their subreddits. Using alternate account(s) to circumvent a subreddit ban makes it more difficult for moderators to effectively run their communities and is a violation of Reddit's rules. „
There are 2 main issues with this:
I stated that I have nothing to do with u/New_protoss_player. A handful of people even agreed with me. Without any evidence of me owning that account, I should not be banned. I only own one more account, u/DankMemes55, that I no longer use, because at the age of 24, I find the name no longer funny, but rather lame and childish. I do not own the account u/New_protoss_player. I never did.
When u/New_protoss_player made his posts, my account was not banned yet. Therefore even if I own u/New_protoss_player, commenting on my own post with an alt account is not aginst the rules. Having multiple account is not against the rules. Using one, when you are banned with an other is. I wasnt banned when the post was made.
I would like to start an open discussion with the moderator who decided to ban me for something that I did not do and its not against the rules and I want him to apologize for his beheviour.
TLDR: I made comments that were unacceptable and I recived a ban later ( for a good reason). Before my ban arrived, a user accused me of posting a controversial discussion from an alt account. Later I got suspended for posting from an alt-account while my main was banned. The post has nothing to do with me, I did not own the account that made the post, and when the post was made I wasnt banned, therefore the moderator who suspended my account ignored his own subreddit’s rules and punished me for personal reasons, abusing his powers as a moderator.
