They are Manageable but BARELY manageable.
As i tried Megacorporation afterwards to compare Human-like empire to Robotic one, i am suprised how many resourcess outputs i got! Because i had to manage the **** out of my empire. I had managed EACH PLANET, preciesly to pop count, to a each sector, as determinet Exterminator, i ended up to being Equivalent to Advanced Empires, before End-Game came in Mid-Game because some A.I. opened L-Gates.
Anyway, the point is, the Mechanoid empire is PLAYABLE, even MANAGEABLE, but they are not as OP, nor that resourceful as others, because as far as i got with Machine Empire, i bet i could go FAR more with Devouring Swarm or regular empire.
I know there is an argument that Robot's don't use Food and that's playing to their advantage, BUT the replicators alone use around 32 minerals? Which is bassicaly tons of minerals, let alone energy consuption, 75 per planet for just having pops? Add Districts and Buildings to the mix, and without Traits you are not in a good possition. And even if you want to make some planet assembly plant, moving pops, and spending 100 credits each time is not much better alternative.
What are your thought since the update? Would you buff machines or do you think they are okay? Let's Discuss!
