I write to you from a school of earnest and hard working Tuna fish who serve in the bona fide Tuna government. I come to you, good citizens of Tamriel, to address a rising problem on the horizon. Invade combo.
We have for weeks now fought the onslaught of Daedra from the limitless open gates that relentlessly grow in size and terror every turn, sometimes multiple times per turn.
We were told upon the first sight of the Daedric invasion that it would be a battle to close the gates. The truth is though, it has been anything but. Hundreds of disgruntled citizens and tuna have fought hand-in-hand and very few have succeeded in closing the thousands of gates thrust upon us.
We all know this. So why now?
The Daedric masterminds behind the gates have learned new tricks. Tricks that don't allow us a chance at closing the gate. Tricks that make us lose our games by turn 6, 7, or turn 8. Tricks that enable them to get to the highest threshold of legend in the game while sitting in the driver seat of one of these so called… "combo Invade" decks.
While thousands pilot inefficient "fun" Invade decks, these so-called connoisseurs of the Gate throw all that out the window to win in their own fashion which many decks just have no answer to.
So now, let me address this issue in non-tuna talk for all of you who still disbelieve me:
While multiple gates are catching on, a few wise players and savvy deck builders have taken this to the extreme and are abusing the function on levels similar to, or exceeding, Empire Abomination and Nix-Ox Assassin. Something must be done immediately, in this month's patch, to address this issue as it is negatively impacting ladder integrity much like Nix-Ox Assassin did during its reign of terror. We have learned time and time again that cheating out magicka or creatures on a consistent basis leads to disaster, which is exactly what Combo invade does.
You may not have seen it yet, you may look at me and say what the hell are you talking about, but I assure you… if it hasn't hit you yet, it will soon. This current abomination will snowball throughout the ladder in the next few weeks if not swiftly dealt with.
It is simply too good, too consistent, and is taking over the ranks of top 100 like the Black Plague hitting Europe. We must take action today!
