Stomped by vMA? Can't vigour through the Ice Rink?

Voriak Solkyn kicking your butts in? Rotation way too complicated? Don't have a magsorc?

Well, you can actually complete vMA easily with just a werewolf, using easy to get gear, and soon, you will have your vMA bow/Flawless Conqueror in no time! I should also probably put a disclaimer that I am in no way the first or the only person to come up with this build, and credits must be given to /u/McAnnex for
his thread and Andy S for

The central idea of a build such as this is to take advantage of werewolves’ massive tankiness and easy method of damage output to accomplish vMA. It is extremely easy to cap resistance and we can turn those resistance into massive health regen using the new Alessian Order set. In a werewolf’s kit, you have only 5 skills to use, and they are all extremely intuitive. The rotation is extremely simple, you just have to light attack, and thus sustain is not even an issue at all. My version of this build focuses on extremely cheap and easy to acquire gear so that anyone would be able to afford it on their own. And since werewolf is essentially a class, any class and any race would be able to use this build without too much issue, and now to get in to the build itself:

Race: Doesn’t matter, you can literally make a point about any race, even the magicka ones

Class: Doesn’t matter, although sorcerer is the strongest due to their passives

Mundus Stone: Steed is my first choice, since it gives you even more mobility and health regen. Lover is great for damage, and Atronach gives you more magicka recovery so you can heal more often.

Skills: Not like you have much choice here:

Pack Leader: The pets are a great damage boost and takes taunt off you

Feral Pounce: Great gap closer, mobility is very important in vMA and the timer extension is vital.

Hiricine’s Fortitude: Your only heal, uses magicka(which you won’t have much of), so be sure to only use this when you need a burst heal. If you run weapon damage potions, you don’t need the other morph, and more healing is always needed

Deafening Roar: A decent CC, which is quite useful in some stages. Major Fracture is a great buff and you won’t be able to get it easily on a werewolf

Howl of Agony: Not much to say here, just good burst damage when you need to kill a webspinner or a poison caster in Stage 7

Claws of Life: Good dot, and good passive healing, using it on a group will stack the healing and give you decent aoe cleave damage.

Enchantments and Traits:

Since our weapon passive doesn’t carry over, the choice of weapons doesn’t matter, so any 2hander or two 1-hander will do, as long as they are infused with the Absorb Health Enchantment (Itade-Oko-Kuta). As we are using heavy armor jewelry sets, the health it gives us is very important and there is no need to transmute them at all, and three weapon damage enchantment for the jewelries. For the body pieces, the traits doesn’t matter all that much, divines is the best, but all the other traits besides impen and training have their merits in vMA, and of course, you will want full stamina enchantments.

Food:

Bergama’s Warning Fire You will have enough health with the 3 jewelry traits so you won’t need a health food.

Gear:

The ‘I am not cp160 yet’ gear:

Don’t do vMA

The ‘I haven’t done any vet dungeons yet’ gear:

Jewelry and weapon: Alessian Order/Beekeeper

Body Pieces: Medium Fortified Brass

Head and Shoulder: Two piece anything you like

The ‘I have a few base game monster set’ gear:

Jewelry and weapon: Alessian Order/Beekeeper

Body Pieces: Medium Fortified Brass

Head and Shoulder: Kra’gh/Selene/Troll King

The ‘I have done Veteran Ruins of Mazzatun’ gear:

Jewelry and weapon: Alessian Order/Beekeeper

Body Pieces: Medium Hunding’s Rage/Seducer/Orgnum’s Scale/Torug’s Pact

Head and Shoulder: Mighty Chudan

The ‘I have Flawless Conqueror and want to chase 600k scores’ gear:

Why are you reading this guide

Explanations:

Alessian Order: Turns your massive resistance into health recovery, worth about 700 recovery with the resists we will get. If for some reason this is too expensive, just get Beekeeper

Fortified Brass: Gives you a lot of resistance, only used when you don’t have Mighty Chudan

Might Chudan: Massive massive resists, you will be able to cap your resistance with medium armor, werewolf and just this

Kra’gh/Selene/Hunding’s Rage: Just good damage sets

Troll King/Orgnum’s Scale: Good health recovery really

Seducer: Massive magicka sustain bonus for your heals

Why not Relequen/Blood Moon? They aren’t really that suitable for vMA since they need a good stationary target with a lot of health and they aren’t exactly that easy to get compared to a crafted set.

Champion Points: Red/Green Credits to Nefas for his brilliant guide

Blue: I don’t really optimise this part, but just get some penetration, direct damage and light heavy attack damage.

Example Build:

All purple gear (even weapons)

I was an idiot and used Night Mother’s Gaze even though Deafening Howl applies this debuff

Flawless Conqueror

Now go get that vMA bow!
