Hello Everyone my name is Steve, and I just wanted to thank you if you decided to open up this reddit link to sacrifice a few minutes out of your busy dolmen grinding day to read this.
TLDR (I know crazy right): I love ESO's stories and found myself not being able to find any content for zone recaps on YouTube. I decided it would be a great honor to play through ALL playable zones and to provide recaps/summaries for veteran ESO players who want to experience stories they completed in the past.
Anyway, I found myself not too long ago looking for lore/story recaps of certain zones in ESO. Specifically, I wanted a zone recap of my favorite zone Malabal Tor (I know it's an unpopular opinion but the environment is my fav hands down and Velyn Harbor is my fav town to park my toons).
Anyway, I played Malabal Tor's storyline a while ago and it's infamously known for being not that good, so naturally, I just wanted a quick summary for a refresher. I couldn't find anything online at all, and to my surprise for most zones in the game, there is little to no content for zone story recaps or TLDRs.
Anyway, I decided to do something I always wanted to do and figured it was a great time to do it (do to the global quarantine) so I started the series:
TLDR The Elder Scrolls Online
My character is a Daggerfall covenant player, and I'm going from Stros M'kai all the way to Bangkorai chronologically. (After finishing Daggerfall Covenant campaign, I'll will do AD or EP!)
I would GREATLY appreciate any comments or feedback you may or may not have on this series I'm starting. I know I'm small, but at worst this will be my own personal journal to reflect back on when I need a recap of stories I haven't done in a while.
I'm not going to plug any links or anything unless someone specifically asks for it. But if you are interested you can search "TLDR The Elder Scrolls Online" on YouTube and you should be able to see some of the stuff I have up at the top.
I think ESO's stories are GREATLY unappreciated (in certain zones mind you) and it would be an honor to be able to summarize this content for veteran players. Depending on the Zone it can take from 3-8 hours to complete, and some players may not have the luxury of time to play through them all again.
I really do appreciate anyone who took the time to read this, I know ESO is almost 6 years old but it is a passion of mine for the past year and would appreciate any comments, criticism, and feedback anyone kind enough would leave to help me make this series more appealing for the community.
Thank you once again.
