Twas the night before Tennobaum, all through the clan
Not a creature was stirring, not even a crewman.
The stockings were hung in the dojo with care,
In hopes that St Ballas soon would be there.
The tenno were nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of grineer dying danced in their heads.
And spacemom in her new outfit, and I in my hat,
Had just settled our brains for fortuna 69 chat.
When out in the star chart there arose such a clatter,
I sprang from the bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the navigation I flew like a flash,
Tore open the console and threw on my sash.
The moon on the beast of the new-fallen Garry
Gave me even more luster with cries of killing Terry.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear,
But a miniature Liset, and eight tiny reindeer.
With a little old driver, so lively and full,
I knew in a moment this would not be dull
More rapid than Condrocs his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name!
"Now, Frost! now, Ember! now, Loki and Ivara!
On, Harrow! On, Khora! on, Trinity we are going farther!
To the top of the porch! to the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Equinox is best girl of all!"
As small Kuakas before the ignis wraith burn,
When the Tenno comes, no-one is left alive to return.
So up to the Dojos the coursers they flew,
With the sleigh full of Weapons, and St Ballas too.
And then, in a twinkling, i wished for my father
The prancing and pawing of the pendulum narta.
As I drew in my head, and was turning around,
I saw St Ballas come in while he made no sound.
He was showered in blood, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes tarnished, with insides and a grineer boot.
A bundle of weapons and plat flung on his back,
And he looked like Hai-luk, just opening her pack.
His eyes-how they twinkled! his smile grew scary!
His cheeks were like roses, his nose like a cherry!
He drooled from his mouth it was drawn like an arrow,
And he had no beard, looked like the Red Harrow
The Length of his arm, it had me in an awe,
And the gold in his voice it was something i saw.
He had a skinny face and a very happy demeanor,
His bones rattled when he laughed, he asked for a cleaner!
He was thin and long, a right jolly old Orokin,
I laughed fully, in spite of early lunch on my chin!
A wink in his eye and a twist of his head,
Soon had me knowing I had nothing to dread
He spoke not a word, but went straight to his work,
And made all the Umbra's, then turned with a jerk.
And looking at us with a sight of why bother
We all asked, will she be back? our space mother!
He sprang to his liset, his team turned on the engine,
And away they all flew, knowing we would be avenging.
But I heard him exclaim, ‘ere he drove out of sight,
"Happy Tennobaum to all, and to all a good-night!"
