Boon (30% more healing) and Dupe (25% chance not to use healing) are the only necklace traits worth using. All other necklace traits are outclassed by one of these two options for every career. Boon is best at keeping an individual's hp bar high while Dupe is best at providing extra healing to teammates and increasing chances a team has to "get out of grey".
When a person uses a medkit on someone else both people "get out of grey". It is unknown if this is a bug or intended. If this changes in the future then Medkit share becomes harder to evaluate, but right now it simply provides less hp then Dupe.
Medkit share provides 35% of the users hp when they heal someone else. Dupe provides a 25% chance to heal 85% of someone's hp, for an expected value of 21.25% of someone hp. Draughts heal for 40 hp, so dupe provides an expected value of +10 hp per draught.
These numbers ignore the possibility of double and triple dupes which increase the expected values to 42.5% hp from medkits and +20 hp from draughts, but let's ignore those because a team can't usually get full value out of triple dupes. Just note that 21.25% +10 hp is already close to the amount that medkit share provides while also providing more ways for teams to get out of grey.
Barkskin vs the world
It requires taking a large amount of damage during the mitigation window before its mitigation will equal the extra hp Boon would provide. I don't expect anyone will be making an affirmative case for Barkskin.
There are two reasons to run Natural Bond. The selfless (it provides more healing for my teammates) and the selfish (it keeps my hp bar high). In each rationale it is outclassed by Dupe and Boon respectively.
The selfless reason
Which provides more healing for their teammates: 1) A Natural Bond user or 2) A Boon user who refuses to drink Draughts and only medkits other people? The answer, they both provide the exact same.
Next, which provides more healing for their teammates: 1) A Natural Bond user or 2) A Dupe user who refuses to drink Draughts and only medkits other people? The answer, the Dupe user. Since every time they use a medkit they have a chance to use it again.
Therefore Natural Bond does not provide more healing to teammates. It provides the same as Boon and less then Dupe.
The selfish reason
But what about the selfish reason to run Natural Bond, when does it keep a person's hp bar higher than Boon? Natural Bond provides 2 hp every 10 seconds. A Boon user gets +1 temp hp every time they kill anything, +16 hp from every Draught they drink and 15% more hp every time they are healed by a medkit.
Assuming a Boon user never drinks Draughts and is never healed by a medkit (and the have no additional source of temp hp like from Mercenary Kruber ult) they only need to kill 1 thing every 5 seconds to keep pace with Natural Bond's regen.
The only times such little killing is likely is when moving through areas space with ambient and during boss fights without hordes. Conversely, Boon will have higher hp in situations where a horde exists. Therefore, Natural Bond will only have more hp in circumstances that are easy to deal with while Boon will have more hp in circumstances that are harder to deal with.
