How to make red duplicates/not wanted ones useful and give grind some sort of direction:
I propose introducing Red Dust and Red Craft.
Example: I have 5 red Charms, around 5 red necklaces, 2x red 2h hammers on Bardin. They are useless to me. But I can't get any value out of them because craft system does not allow crafting reds. I get that reds are supposed to be rare but crafting red using red dust from reds would not make them any more common as you have to FIRST get a lot of reds to be able to craft one.
My proposition is that for for example 5 Red Dust and 50 Orange dust you can use your weapons blueprints you got through leveling and craft yourself YOUR desired red weapon. Red dust is simple: 1 per 1 red item. So you have to sacrifice multiple RNG red items to get one, but specific.
This way we solve duplicates issue (I know most people don't have so many reds but at some point this will be issue for more people) and we allow some way to actually work towards getting the most desired red.
Because lets face it: it's all RNG. You may not even deserve a red item or get one that you simply don't like to use. Also the amount of accesories duplicates is staggering and there is nothing to do with them. The time investment does not equal obtaining desired red item. One can get if from first chest, one never seen it in 300h of gameplay. However he might have gotten quite a lot of other red items. This gives him some sort of possible reward for his time invested in grind.
With this system at least when you get red you don't want or duplicate you can ease your frustration by knowing that at some point if you get enough of them you will be able to get the red one that you desire most.
It will also give RNG grind some sort of goal.
