I think that the Power vs. XXX properties are too meta. What do you think?

First off, let me say that while I dislike these properties being in game it and see them as a wrong design choice, I have absolutely nothing against people who consider them fine or even adding to the game. More power to anyone who thinks so. I'm not trying to be militant about my belief; I just want to learn your opinions.

I dislike the idea of power vs. XXX properties existing because they encourage meta gaming. "Meta gaming" is a phrase that has grown to have a number of meanings; in this case, it means having to look to sources outside of the game itself (hence the "meta" part) in order to be most efficient. For example, the (arguably of course, duh) most efficient crossbow BH is the one who packs 40% into armour and skaven power, meaning he can one-shot stormvermin with body shots; Kruber and Bardin rifle users need 20% power vs. infantry and chaos if they want to safely one-bodyshot all specials (perhaps except packmaster, I don't remember). If you do not use these specific setups, your weapons are (again, arguably) much less effective, therefore negatively influencing your in-game efficiency. Sharp eye, reflexes and quick thinking are still important, but with the existence of power vs. xxx properties you also need to acquaintance yourself with out-of-game sources in order to be as effective as possible, and that is something that I do not approve of. In my mindset, all the informations needed to play the game to its fullest should be avaialble in the game itself.

Perhaps I would have no problem with it if there was an in-game encyclopedia that shows you breakpoints for all the weapons and enemies. What do you think.
