As title. The games quickplay and entire structure has one HUGE issue: It pushes people into playing legend if they want to maximize their chances for loot.
This causes the obvious issue of legend being mostly populated by people who are completely outclassed, but still queue up in the hopes of getting carried and getting some loot.
The second effect this has is the constant whining for nerfs to legend on this community and many others. Legend HAS to be beatable for these people, because otherwise how could they get the best loot chances?
I realize this post is rather harsh, but it's based on reality in my experience of 400 hours of gameplay, many of which spent trying to have quick fun in quickplay while my friends aren't here.
I'd welcome a sort of change that would make it so that rewards on champion and legend are the same, so that people don't feel like they're REQUIRED to play legend. Consider: Aslong as the hardest difficulty yields the best rewards, there will always be whining from the people who can't beat it. Looking at the stats of who beat skittergate on legend on steam, that seems to be a heavy majority.
Keep in mind I'm not arguing this from an elitist "go back to champion" point of view. I'm arguing it would be best for everyone involved if getting the best rewards did not require you to play the hardest difficulty, which is too hard for most players. It would please both the people who play for loot and the people who play for the challenge.
