Hypothetical MN DD line?

So, I was thinking today about what a future DD line for the Marine nationale might be like. I came up with what I think would be a solid line with a playstyle similar to Russian gunboats.

From T2 to T4 I honestly don't know, because most WWI French destroyers had very minimal and/or small caliber artillery. Maybe Aventurier-class for T3 and M89-class for T4? Aventurier would fit in with T3 because the small caliber guns and low amount of torps make sense for that tier, idk about M89 (they were never completed and were merely just projects, 140mm guns on a destroyer at T4 is pretty ridicoulous but there's only two of them so it would kinda balance it out);

Now from T5 onwards I'd propose to only have contre-torpilleurs (large destroyers basically) since they were pretty much uniquely designed by the French (and also because there are only 3 French regular destroyer classes from WWII). Six classes were made: Chacal-class, Guépard-class, Aigle-class, Vauquelin-class, Le Fantasque-class and Mogador-class. They could be organized from T5 to T10 in two ways (both chronological since each class was an improvement over the previous):

  1. ChacalGuépardAigleVauquelinLe FantasqueMogador;

This solution wouldn't pose any issues regarding missing ships, but the problems would arise from Aigle (as in the premium ship) and Le Terrible which would find themselves one tier lower compared to their classes (this could be fixed however in a similar manner to Mutsu and Musashi by making the tech tree counterparts stronger and/or different in some aspects), as well as the T7 Aigle-class needing a different name.

  1. ChacalGuépardVauquelinLe FantasqueMogador – something else.

This solution wouldn't cause any issues with the present premiums but rather have the problem of finding a T10 ship, since the Mogador-class was the last large destroyer class built by France and was even considered to have surpassed the limits of its own type.

The playstyle of these higher tier ships would be akin to RU DDs, as in pure gunboats that are fast as fu*k. For some more national flavour I'd throw in the improved +20% Speed Boost that Aigle and Le Terrible have and the option to use the MBRB on T9 and T10, while keeping the above-average concealment and the pretty pitiful AA that the ships historically had (maybe buff it a bit to make it at least semi-mediocre instead of outright garbage).

Proposed stats for the ships (relative to the first solution):

Chacal

  • Main armament: 5×1 130mm Modèle 1919 guns (reload: 6s, shell speed: idk pretty slow probs, turret traverse: mediocre to decent, range 10.7km)
  • Torpedoes: 2×3 550mm (reload: 77s, speed: 57kn, range: 7km, max damage: 18400, basically Aigle torps)
  • AA: 4×2 13.2mm machine guns, 1×2 37mm gun (maybe have the Hull(B) upgrade add the originally planned 2×1 76mm cannons)
  • Survivability: 12.7k base HP
  • Concealment: 7km by sea, 3.8km by air
  • Maneuverability: max speed 35.5kn, turning circle 660m, rudder shift 3.9s
  • Upgrades: Hull(B) (extra AA and +1.3k HP, -0.4s to rudder shift), GFCS (range +1.4km) maybe also gun upgrade to 138mm Modèle 1923 with Hull(B) (historically, planned but never carried out; reload: 6.5s, shell speed: same probably, turret traverse: worse, damage per shell of course is higher)
  • Consumables: Smoke Generator (20s dispersion, 81s duration), Speed Boost (+20%)

  • Main armament: 5×1 138.6mm Modèle 1923 guns (reload 6.5s, shell speed: still pretty slow, turret traverse: still not very good, range 11.5km)
  • Torpedoes: 2×3 550mm (reload 77s, speed 57kn, range 7km, max damage: 18400, Aigle torps again)
  • AA: 4×1 37mm guns (it really only had that, maybe add some 13.2mm double mounts)
  • Survivability: 13.9k base HP
  • Concealment: 7.6km by sea, 4.2km by air
  • Maneuverability: max speed 35.5kn, turning circle 670m, rudder shift 4.0s
  • Upgrades: Hull(B) (extra AA, +1.8k HP, -0.3s rudder shift), GFCS (+1.3km range)
  • Consumables: Smoke Generator (20s dispersion, 81s duration), Speed Boost (+20%)

Aigle (or whatever it's renamed to)

  • Main armament: 5×1 138.6mm Modèle 1927 guns (reload 5.5s, shell speed: slow, turret traverse: slow, range 11.6km)

  • AA: 1×1 75mm gun, 4×1 37mm guns
  • Survivability: 15.5k base HP
  • Concealment: 7.8km by sea, 4.3km by air
  • Maneuverability: max speed 36kn, turning circle 680m, rudder shift 4.6s
  • Upgrades: Hull(B) (+1.7k HP, -0.5s rudder shift), GFCS (+1.4km range)
  • Consumables: Smoke Generator (20s dispersion, 81s duration), Speed Boost (+20%)

Vauquelin

  • Main armament: 5×1 138.6mm Modèle 1927 guns (reload 5.0s, shell speed: slow, turret traverse: slow, range: 11.7km)
  • Torpedoes: 1×3 + 2×2 550mm (reload: 73s for the doubles and 91 for the triple, speed: 61kn, range 8km, max damage: 18400)
  • AA: 4×1 13.2mm machine guns, 4×1 37mm guns
  • Survivability: 16.2k base HP
  • Concealment: 8.3km by sea, 4.5km by air
  • Maneuverability: max speed 36kn, turning circle 680m, rudder shift 4.8s
  • Upgrades: Hull(B) (+1.8k HP, -0.4s rudder shift), GFCS (+1.5km range), Hull(C) (+1.7k HP, adds some AA)
  • Consumables: Smoke Generator (20s dispersion, 81s duration), Speed Boost (+20%)

Le Fantasque

  • Main armament: 5×1 138mm Modèle 1929 (reload: 4.5s, shell speed: a bit better maybe, turret traverse: a bit better, range: 11.8km)
  • Torpedoes: 3×3 550mm (reload: 96s, speed: 65kn, range 8.5km, max damage: 18400)
  • AA: 4×1 13.2mm machine guns, 4×1 37mm guns (Hull(B) changes this to 8 Bofors and 10 Oerlikons)
  • Survivability: 18.3k base HP
  • Concealment: 8.8km by sea, 4.7km by air
  • Maneuverability: max speed 41kn (nominally it was 40, it was actually 45 but dropped to 37 after the refit; I just went with the average of the three), turning circle 700m, rudder shift 5.3s
  • Upgrades: Hull(B) (+2.0k HP, makes the AA much better but still mediocre, -0.5s rudder shift), GFCS (+1.6km range), Hull(C) (sidegrade: -1 torp tube, but gains access to MBRB consumable)
  • Consumables: Smoke Generator (20s dispersion, 81s duration) OR Main Battery Reload Booster (for 15s reload down to 2.2s), Speed Boost (+20%)

Mogador

  • Main armament: 4×2 138mm Modèle 1934 guns (reload: 4.5s, shell speed: same as above, turret traverse: idk, range: 13km)
  • Torpedoes: 2×2 + 2×3 550mm (reload: 88s for the doubles and 112s for the triples, speed: 65kn, range: 8.5km, max damage: 18400)
  • AA: 2×2 13.2mm machine guns, 2×1 37mm guns (maybe add to that to make it less painfully bad)
  • Survivability: 22.1k HP
  • Concealment: 9.4km by sea, 5.1km by air
  • Maneuverability: max speed 41kn (designed for 39kn but achieved 41.67kn at almost deep load), turning circle 740m, rudder shift 6.8s
  • Upgrades:
  • Consumables: Smoke Generator (20s dispersion, 81s duration) OR Main Battery Reload Booster (for 15s reload down to 2.2s), Speed Boost (+20%)

Took me about 2 and a half hours to compile this post, but I haven't looked too deep into the ships (for example I don't know what the torpedo tube setup was on Mogador, and I don't feel like going into detail on shell speed and damage) so I apologize if this wall of text is full of bullshit.

Opinions?
