Shouldn’t Le Terrible (and Aigle) actually have roughly 2400 HE Shell Damage rather than the 2000 they currently have? (A closer analysis from a particular comment)

So this question came to me about a day after LittleWhiteMouse's release of her Le Terrible review. Much like my enthusiasm when Ernst and Z-23 were about to be released, I was fixated on Le Terrible's guns being special. A 139mm Main Gun on a Destroyer is not a very common sight in this game. It's pretty big. Anyhow, in her review, she'll place suggestions at the end of each department she reviews that could or should help make any ship just a tinsy bit more useful. "I wouldn’t say no to a slight bump up in the alpha strike of her HE shells either. – LWM", was the comment that caught my interest. I thought, "Hang on, what IS Le Terrible's Shell damage?" Scrolled back up, grab the information I wanted and off to WOWS Wiki!

I brought up several different tabs with every cruiser who ever had roughly 140mm and upon comparison, was shocked and perplexed. The five Cruisers in the game that have 140mm Main Guns where Tenryu, Iwaki Alpha, Katori, Yubari, and Kuma. All their guns had an AP damage of 2700. Le Terrible and Aigle have 2600. Now before you start yelling back to me, I am taking this analysis (particularly the shell damage) as general as possible, with all the national flavors in mind. If you watch Stuntman's YouTube videos you'll see in his T8 list of Destroyers, every shell damage, there is "about" 100-200 hundred shell damage difference between most of them (Except Germany). OK? Good. So AP damage is fine, but have a look at the HE shell damage:

Tenryu – 2400

Iwaki Alpha – 2400

Katori – 2400

Kuma – 2400

Yubari – 2400

Aigle – 2000?

Le Terrible – 2000?

"Huh?", I thought, "That doesn't make any sense, this is a 139mm gun, not 127mm. The base damage should be much more than that!" Some of you maybe thinking, "Well Z-23 has 2200 HE Shell Damage on the 150mm, how do you explain that?" If it hasn't occurred to you, base German HE Shell damage is rather anemic, hence the low figures. Yet when we look at the base figures for AP damage, it's only 200 off. Pretty similar no? So why not for the Le Terrible or the Aigle?

In my conclusion, I believe the Cruiser-sized guns of the Le Terrible and Aigle should not be settled at 2000 HE Damage, but rather 2400 or close to that number. It won't be first nor the last ship to have AP/HE numbers that are tied with other nations, again, I am aware of national flavors. I'll leave it up to the egg heads here to figure out if giving 2400 HE Damage will make her OP or not, but I don't think it will. Probably outside of a Repair Party, this comes to a close second in the "easy fix" category. Personally? I don't mind if they have to take away 1-2% fire chance if they want to trade something out.

That's my suggestion. OH! I also wouldn't mind if the torpedo range was buffed up to 9km, but I don't know if they'd have to mess with the concealment this thing to make it fair. Idk, just a wish list item.

But what do you think?
