I joined wows in May , 2019 and I have been playing since . Started playing and slowing learned (and still learning) the game . Had some ups and downs in terms of enjoyment , frustration and in betweens .

But the constant issues that keeps popping out in the forums and the in game chat paint a gloomy idea about the game. so much so that if an outsider looks into these negative player sentiments, he/she will have a very negative perspective about wows.

Granted that I agree with a lot of players complaints such as CV situation, Radar , Matchmaking , uptiering and ship balance .

However , how about we list the good and positive aspects of the game we play every day while providing us with entertainment , challenges and learning experience .

1 – The game is free to play and yet to become pay to win . yes we can pay to advance and get premium ships , yet we don’t have to . apart from premium time , which is not mandatory if you perform consistently , we don’t have to pay anything else . tech tree ships are still viable and there is a lot of them that fit every style , game mode or player experience .

2- the game is fun since we have hundreds of ships in every tier that fit every player style. Lower tier provides a learning and relaxed experience (yes I know t4 CVs) . Mid tiers increases the challenges , but not much and finally , higher tiers where the real challenge begins . add to it many game modes that also fit every style . search and you will find a ship/mode that fits your style .

3 – there is a lot of free stuff . so far I received for free (premium time , JB, Smolensk , Alaska , thunderer , smaland , lots of lower tier premium ships , dubloons , almost got my first steel ship , camos , signals , credits etc ) . And those are the things I remember . and last , but not least , I just got 2 t9 perma camo while I had 3 t8 perma camos from last year Halloween and Christmas events . and I wasn’t even trying to grind those .

4 – the games receives constant updates every month . while some players complains about burning out , don’t participate !! . I missed countless events and it haven’t affected my experience . more importantly , id rather have something exciting every month , then waiting for a 6 month updating cycle to get a long and tedious event , but that’s just me .

I’m not going to make this long . the point that I am trying to make is that wows has many positive aspects that keep the current player base playing and enjoying their time . while the negative aspects are being pointed out a lot , which is fine since these need addressing . the positive aspects deserve a mention in the cloud of toxicity and negativity projected in the forums and ingame.

Thank you for reading .
