If updates on PC are always going to be one day later than on consoles (which I don't personally mind very much), at least don't copy-paste the console patch notes in future PC update announcements.
First of all, I'm willing to bet most PC players don't really care about console patch notes. The ones that do care likely happen to play on both.
Second of all, and more importantly, we've already seen the console patch notes, as they were posted a day earlier. Copy-pasting them was completely pointless.
All we needed was the first few paragraphs, telling us about how things will work different on PC. Adding the console patch notes has proven to just be confusing for a lot of users, myself included at first.
Thank you, Treyarch, for balancing the games separately on PC and console. It truly shows that you care. In the future, though, please be a little more organised the announcement posts.
PC players don't wanna see console changes in our PC-specific patch notes, especially not when they were posted a day earlier.
Edit: Treyarch have let us know that the patch notes are relevant on PC as well in a comment on the PC update announcement post. This is good information. Still, the copy-paste was very confusing, as the patch notes originally said they were specific to consoles (and that PC updates would be posted later today), so I like to think my criticism is still valid.
Less copy-paste, more double-checking, less confusion among users.
