CoD: Black Ops 4

This game is incredible and I’m having the most fun I’ve had since Goldeneye. I’m dead serious, I don’t understand why people are complaining so much. I haven’t played a CoD since MW2 but I know none of them had a Blackout mode.

While there are some fair criticisms I think people are being overly negative and focusing on them too much in this sub. Doing Hot Pursuit with my two buddies, and cool teamates we met playing, the last couple weeks (with headsets) has been one of the coolest video game experiences of my life. I feel the same excitement I did with Goldeneye for N64. The cooperative teamwork needed in Blackout is incredible.

The radio communications really makes it for us “I got a sniper rifle I’ll hop on this roof and cover you” “Suppress him and I’ll flank him” “I found an extra backpack and I got a ton of extra 5.56 if anyone needs it”

Gunfight abruptly starts and ends and the teamate that missed it while looting in another building says; “wtf just happened?” “Some squad tried to F with us and we smoked’em that’s wtf just happened” lol (you had to be there but stuff like that gets hilarious)

Teamate fires a sensor dart in in our location, bunch of red dots appear, “they’re coming, get ready” (fires mesh mines in doorway)

We get separated; “what’s the plan?” “See you at the final circle”

Our adrenaline goes through the roof we get really fired up. It’s fun making rapid improvement (not hard when you’re relatively new).

There’s nothing like when your teammate gets downed and you take out the squad that did it and save him. Or when you’re wounded (low health) and about to get overrun but your bro pulls up in vehicle to extract just in time. After the fight we consolidate and reorganize, make sure everyone has ammo, medkits, armor etc.

Then on top of that I can do multiplayer if I want more action. For me, Blackout is the real game but it can be a bit slow so I like to switch it up. I think I’m gonna start doing more MP because it’s a ton of fun but also because it gets your gun fighting skills up much faster than Blackout since you get in 10x as many shootouts in the same amount of time. I’ve been doing some TDM and pumped about getting into the moshpit playlists. i just dabbled in a Zombie custom game last night and that seems awesome too as a side thing.

I still have a ton to learn, explore, and unlock. I’ve been playing a ton in the couple weeks that I have had the game. I’m going to be playing this game for a long time if life doesn’t get in the way. I have 2IRL friends I’ve been playing with daily and have made several online friends we invite to be part of our quad (never made “friends” on PS4 before it’s pretty awesome). Even if my IRL friends found a new game and I’m unable to keep playing daily I’ll be playing this for a long time.
