Hello all. I've been creating videos of Champion spawn locations for Hero and Legend Nightfalls for the past couple of weeks since most of the attention is given to the higher-tier difficulties. I'm also going to add some tips here that I haven't seen mentioned very often, or haven't seen mentioned at all.

There's a Champion that spawns in the arc charge room, AFTER you've picked up the final charge and moved to deposit it. This guy is easy to miss, because he doesn't spawn until you're on your way out of the area, at which point he spawns behind you. If you're in matchmaking, you may have to kill him yourself, because there's a good chance randoms will run off without realising he's there.
The strike doesn't fully complete for like 30+ seconds after the boss is killed. The first reflex after getting chest rewards is to just head to orbit, but it still takes a good bit of time after that before the strike is actually considered to be completed. You have to wait until the actual end-of-mission timer starts counting down or you'll lose out on rewards for that strike AND for weekly objectives.
Shields are Arc and Void. I'm pretty sure Arc and Void are the only shields, and they're honestly not very common. From what I can recall, only a few Arc Harpies at the beginning and then that's it for Arc, then a few sporadic Minotaurs and Incendiors throughout.Загрузка...
Exploding rounds partially penetrate Incendior shields. I've never seen this posted anywhere before, but for some reason, exploding rounds on weapons seem to partially ignore Incendior shields. This usually isn't a very big deal, but can be a tremendous help for modes that have Match Game, as the damage that penetrates their shields seems to be unaffected by Match Game and is instead applied directly to their health. I made great use of this for the Inverted Spire last season, where I used Nation of Beasts to kill them for Legend difficulty despite its damage being arc and their shields being Void.
Falling Guillotine's spin attack vaporizes enemies, and so prevents Incendior tanks from exploding on you. This happens whether the attack is fully charged or not. Again, this is something I learned from last seasons Inverted Spire. I'd use FG to kill Incendiors since its void damage matched their shields, but they'd frequently explode on me and then burn me till I died. I found out that the spin attack vaporizes them and gets rid of the tank without detonating it, and it made life way easier.
Swinging a sword immediately before hitting the ground will negate fall damage. This is extremely helpful if you get popped up by the final boss, because a freefall will probably kill you, especially with the increased knockback and fall damage modifier on this week's Nightfall.
