Welcome to The Los Santos Stories. An ambitious project spanning the critically acclaimed GTA V narrative.
Using the Rockstar Editor combined with in-game cut scenes, The Los Santos Stories will bring you GTA V like never before.
Season 1 will follow the events leading up to the conclusion of the Jewel Store Heist.
Below you will find links to the trailer, episode 1, and episode 1 with hand-made subtitles, similar to how they appear in the game for consistency and presentation.

Stay tuned to this thread. I'll be posting a couple 'behind-the-scenes' of Premiere Pro on what went on to get this together.
Any question, just ask away!
A general overview of the timeline inside of Premiere Pro for Episode 1.
My cut scene recordings are done using ReLive by AMD. I don't have the tools or equipment to record at high fame rates and max detail. I'm just working with what I got and what I got isn't that great. The audio from these Relive recordings are atrocious, so….
With the use of Open IV, I was able to extract the mission dialogue and the sound effects associated with the dialogue (footsteps, doors opening/closing, gunshots). Although in some cases, only the dialogue was present, and the ambiance had to be places in with other effects. I'll show this when the time comes in future screenshots across the series.
Shout out to Open IV and their creators. It wasn't worth doing the cut scenes at all if I didn't discover this.
Below is a screen of the very beginning.
Beginning of Episode 1.
The raw audio from these cut scenes was deleted and replaced with Open IV extracted audio and places over. You'll notice the colour change on audio track 2 changes from one colour, to another colour, and back again. Audio that hasn't been deleted from the video track it's associated to will always be the colour of the middle section.
The longer audio track beneath is the music I used titled 'Sinkhole'. 99% of the music used is copyright free and taken from the YouTube music library.
An example of needing to find ambiance separate to dialogue is shown below, however, there's a file already dedicated to the ambiance of the therapists office complete with the seaside and ticking clock. It was just a case of lining everything until it seemed correct.
