It's not shit this time, either.
Announcement from Capcom;
Get to the coast and start stocking up on those airweeds, hunters! The aquatic combat update is coming! It's been ten long years since hunters have taken the hunt off land, but that all changes starting May 3rd, 2019. Alongside series classics, you'll be able to encounter new, never-before seen monsters that lurk deep beneath the surface. Ancient Forest and Wildspire Waste have been expanded with this update, and a brand new- entirely aquatic locale and arena will be coming your way as well! …
What kinds of monsters would you like to see returning from the depths, and what kinds of new monsters would you like to face off against underwater? What kinds of underwater maps would you want to explore?
Personally, I'd love to see my boys Royal Ludroth and Lagiacrus come back, alongside perhaps some new kind of jelly-fish, electric eel hybrid monstie to hunt. As for a new map, it'd be kind of neat to hunt in the abyss of a frozen ocean. Would let us see a couple of unique takes on both water and ice monsters, something MHW currently lacks!
I look forward to seeing what kinds of monsters you guys would want to see, and what kinds of maps you guys would like to explore. Happy hunting, everyone!
