I just bought the PC version for myself and a buddy through Steam for Christmas, and i've beaten the xbox version several times over. Game's great, looks great, loads great, just as expected. However the gameplay is soooo much slower, it feels like my character's running through mud while everything else moves like normal. I've tried to go about this logically; Maybe low rank is slower on purpose and I don't remember. I use a wired Xbone Afterglow controller to play with and my specs are as follows:
Operating System Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1 CPU Intel Core i7 3770 @ 3.40GHz 28 °C Ivy Bridge 22nm Technology RAM 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 666MHz (9-9-9-24) Motherboard MSI Z77A-G41 (MS-7758) (SOCKET 0) 28 °C Graphics 2779 (1920×[email protected]) 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 (NVIDIA) 25 °C Storage 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EZEX-00RKKA0 ATA Device (SATA) 27 °C 1863GB Western Digital WDC WD20EZRX-00D8PB0 ATA Device (SATA) 23 °C Optical Drives TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224BB ATA Device Audio NVIDIA Virtual Audio Device (Wave Extensible) (WDM)
My DirectX is 11, supposedly the best Windows 7 can get. I've tried optimizing the game in Nvidia's settings and GeForce Experience (which is it's own headache). The only sort of semi-helpful thing i've done is unlock the frame rate from the game's settings which I had capped at 60. After doing so it runs between 70-108 fps, but still it's like i'm running through mud.
